Handmade Hagiyaki Matcha Bowl (color white, diameter 12cm x height 9,5cm, made in Japan). This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Hagi ware has been highly esteemed in the world of tea ceremony for over 400 years. Hagi ware is known for its soft, rustic character and its warm, gentle textures and colors. Its greatest charm lies in the so-called “Seven Transformations of Hagi” — the way the piece gradually changes with use. As matcha and other beverages slowly permeate the clay, the colors deepen and evolve, creating a one-of-a-kind landscape unique to each bowl.
